INP072: Specialist, Supply Chain Operations

The Specialist, Supply Chain Operations is a position responsible for all aspects of the warehouse for all Customers. The Specialist is responsible for smooth day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The Specialist identifies opportunities for operational excellence as per the KPIs and SLAs put down by the management.


PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To Lead and manage multiple large scale & complex warehouse & distribution operations for multiple customers.
  • Review and management of Revenue & Expense of operations
  • Review of Operation status with customers & management on a timely and regular basis
  • Provide management report on operation status and budget figures.
  • Responsible for providing cost effective services (warehousing & distributions) to customers as per agreed service level/KPI.
  • Responsible for conducting operational reviews with vendors and customers, providing billing details & provisions, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Responsible for ensuring HSSE, 5S, Operating Standards, Quality Management System are implemented and maintained consistently.
  • To work on continuous improvement/Kaizen to reduce operating cycle time by eliminating wastes.
  • Cost saving innovative process to be introduced and keep a tab on expenses and to provide cost saved data on monthly basis.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

Academic:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent, preferably in business.

Experience & knowledge:

  • 10+ years of directly related contract logistics ( Warehouse & Transportation ) or supply chain experience.
  • Involves the application of knowledge which may include providing advice to employees, management, or customers, managing, or maintaining systems or processes or completing projects to develop or changing systems or processes at warehouse as appropriate.

Attribute:

  • Effective analytical, problem solving, communication, team-leading abilities.
  • Professionalism and persuasive presentation skills with the ability to grasp and communicate complex value propositions.
