HVAC Technician (3 YRS EXP REQ) Part TIme

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our instructional team. This is a part time evening shift Monday-Thursday 5pm-11pm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires teaching students the curriculum and drawing on real life experience to help shape the next generation of technicians.

Responsibilities

  • Teach curriculum and reinforce concepts using real life experiences.
  • Work with students in the classroom covering theory and then in the lab to display hands on support for content.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to air conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment for effective troubleshooting.
  • Perform property maintenance tasks as needed, including plumbing and general repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.

Skills

  • Proficient in HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Strong field service skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with brazing and soldering for certain repair tasks.
  • Understanding of property maintenance principles beyond HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC design.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
