Hourly compensation equivalent to an annualized range of $35,000–$40,000, based on experience.

2 paid sick/personal days

Paid holidays if they fall on a normally scheduled workday

1 week paid vacation

Mileage reimbursement for work-related driving

20 hours per week.

Schedule to be mutually agreed upon based on candidate availability and household needs. Flexibility is available to design a consistent weekly schedule that works well for both parties.

Position Overview

A private individual and business owner in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and self-directed Household Assistant to support the daily care, organization, and culinary needs of a calm, recently renovated four-bedroom residence.

This is a long-term opportunity for a candidate who enjoys maintaining a beautifully run home, takes pride in consistency and systems, and feels confident working independently. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, initiative, and a steady presence to a quiet, well-maintained household.

Primary Responsibilities

Laundry care including washing, ironing, folding, and putting garments away

Preparing healthy, balanced meals and cooking fresh dinners as requested

Preparing healthy snacks and maintaining organized food storage

Grocery shopping for ingredients and household essentials

Running household errands such as donation drop-offs and other occasional tasks

Bed making and routine upkeep of bedrooms and bathrooms

Periodic deeper cleaning to maintain overall household standards

Organizing closets, refrigerator, cabinets, and storage spaces

Assisting with household projects that support organization and maintenance

Maintaining a consistently clean, orderly, and welcoming home environment

Candidate Requirements

Must have a reliable personal vehicle for errands and grocery shopping

Pleasant, professional disposition with warmth and discretion

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining systems and routines

Self-directed and able to identify next priorities once primary tasks are complete

Prior experience in private homes or hospitality environments preferred

Reliable, organized, and respectful of a quiet household setting
