Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing and reservation details.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage multi-line phone systems, answering calls with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to provide guests with relevant information.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for incoming guests.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
  • Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
