The Company This organisation is the European hub of a global securities and investment banking business. The role sits within the Technology COO function, working closely with senior leadership to support communication, strategy and coordination across the wider Technology department. The Role The Communications Business Manager will play a central role in shaping how the Technology department informs, engages, and inspires its colleagues across EMEA. They will be responsible for developing, designing, and delivering clear, creative, and impactful communication materials, ensuring that complex technology concepts are translated into messages that are accessible and engaging for all audiences. Working closely with the Technology COO and wider team, the incumbent will: Build and maintain a compelling department‑wide communications strategy that aligns with Technology’s strategic objectives. Create and manage a pipeline of communication outputs including email campaigns, intranet content, digital screens, video updates, and event materials such as townhall presentations. Support the development, expansion, and maintenance of the Technology intranet and internal communication platforms, ensuring information is presented in a cohesive, modern, and user‑friendly way. Bring fresh thinking – leveraging AI tools, modern design approaches, and innovative formats – to strengthen the Technology brand and improve how the department shares information and connects with colleagues. The role is suited to an inquisitive, creative graduate or early‑career communications professional with an interest in technology, an eye for visual design, and a desire to learn, experiment, and contribute new ideas. All technical topics will be explained, but the individual must demonstrate curiosity and the ability to understand and translate technical concepts.
