Role As the Global Splunk Platform Enablement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and improving the effectiveness of our field sellers' knowledge and expertise providing Splunk Platform based solutions to our customers. This role combines Splunk Platform expertise with training and enablement strategy to support revenue teams and functions. You will bring together the requirements for Splunk Platform content, training, coaching and assessments to drive better use case adoption in the field and successful outcomes with our customers. Responsibilities In this role you will partner closely with Security Enablement Lead, Observability Enablement lead and teams across Splunk and Global Field Enablement (GFE) to drive measurable, repeatable results around Splunk Platform use cases. You will develop the Splunk Platform enablement strategy for the Splunk Field (Sales, Technical Sales, Partner, Digital Sales and Renewals) and work with a cross functional team of subject matter experts to drive the strategy. You will advise global and theater based programs to improve our Splunk Platform offerings, and act as an advocate for the needs of Splunk Platform skills and expertise. Day to day, you will also: Identify obstacles to successful Splunk Platform selling, develop and implement programs to remove them.Lead end-to-end enablement programs on the Splunk Platform, solidifying our field's baseline understanding of Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud Platform, AI, Data Management & Federation and Edge Hub and how it supports our Security and Observability solutionsDefine requirements for, and when applicable build, Splunk Platform curriculum for Sales, Technical Sales and Partner learnersPartner with internal market strategists, Sales, Solution Engineering, Technical Marketing, Product Marketing, Product and Engineering, Customer Success, Competitive Intelligence, GFE design teams and contribute to the development of Splunk Platform content for key events and activitiesEvaluate leading and lagging indicators to recommend appropriate enablement to improve enablement resultsFacilitate, instruct, train and coach global field sellers, leaders and teams as neededCoordinate with the global productivity team on theater based enablementRequirements5-10 years of experience in a customer-facing role in enterprise/SaaS software environments in sales, technical sales, solutions engineer, customer success, etc.Expertise in the Splunk Platform, the value it provides to customers, and how it supports all Splunk solutions.Understanding of industry & competitive trends in the Security & Observability market including market dynamics, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies within AI, Data Management, and Federation.Able to articulate the value of the Splunk Platform to both technical and non-technical personas at all levels of an organization.Desire to enable others with your domain and solution sales/technical knowledge of the Splunk Platform.Able to work independently and thrives in an open, dynamic and innovative team environmentStrong communication skills both written and verbalNice-to-have Qualifications We've taken special care to separate the must-have qualifications from the nice-to-haves.
