TalentFish is casting a line for a Full-Stack Software Developer. This is a W-2 contract opportunity supporting a fast-paced and innovative development environment. Candidates must reside near Fremont, CA.

 

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Full-Stack Developer who thrives in environments where they can take ownership of technical challenges, collaborate with teams, and deliver high-quality solutions from start to finish.

  • The Software Developer will contribute to both frontend and backend development while collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain modern applications.
  • This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys solving abstract problems, building scalable solutions, and owning projects from concept to completion.

 

What You Bring

  • Experience thinking critically about complex or abstract problems and delivering effective technical solutions.
  • Ability to break down projects into milestones and tasks and drive work through to completion.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience working within software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
  • Experience with code reviews, branch management, and resolving merge conflicts
  • Strong understanding of modern web development frameworks and full-stack technologies.

 

Skills Used in This Position / What You Will Do

Frontend Development

  • Build and maintain modern web interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Utilize CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS.
  • Develop applications using React.js or similar frontend libraries.
  • Work with UI component frameworks such as Ant Design (antd) and shadcn.
  • Implement and maintain global state management using tools such as Redux and React Context API

 

Backend Development

  • Develop server-side functionality using technologies such as Node.js and Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Express.js.
  • Design, develop, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including SQLite, MySQL, and MongoDB.

 

Compensation and Employment
This role requires authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. The expected hourly rate for this position is $50 - $62 W2, depending on experience and qualifications. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
