Position: Front of House Security Officer (Relief)

Location: Manchester, M1 and Surrounding Areas 

Pay Rate: £12.50 to £13.50

Hours: 24 to 48 Hours Per Week, 8 to 12 Hour Shifts

Job Purpose

The purpose is to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. 

Job Overview 

A Front House Officer is responsible for ensuring that personnel and guests have a positive first impression of the venue. As the first point of contact, you will be expected to be friendly and welcoming when guests/staff arrive or leave. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Front of House area to ensure a professional appearance
  • Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
  • Ensure processes are strictly followed for any visitors to the building
  • Deal with complaints and offer fast resolutions, escalating where necessary
  • Build professional relationships with occupiers and guests, ensuring all have a pleasant experience

Requirements 

  • A valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding (essential)
  • A valid CCTV Licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • First Aid and Fire Marshal training (preferable) 
  • Flexible, committed and punctual 
  • Excellent concentration skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Ability to remain calm and deal with emergencies 
  • Customer Service experience
  • An ambitious personality and willing to grow with the business
