This position offers the chance to shape core accounting processes, drive digital transformation, and lead a high‑performing team within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment.</p><p><br></p><p>My client is a leading entertainment business undergoing significant finance transformation. They are looking to appoint an Finance Manager (RTR - Core Accounting) to oversee the delivery of best‑practice accounting processes, champion automation, and ensure the accurate and timely production of financial statements. This is an ideal next step for a qualified accountant with strong RTR experience who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Leading, developing, and motivating the Core Accounting team</li><li>Ensuring core accounting processes are consistent, compliant, efficient, and fully documented</li><li>Overseeing timely and accurate accounting entries with strong governance and controls</li><li>Driving automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement across RTR</li><li>Supporting ERP SaaS release testing and system enhancements (Oracle Fusion)</li><li>Collaborating with external auditors and providing required documentation</li><li>Working closely with other Finance Operations teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes</li><li>Managing team performance, development, and engagement</li><li>Supporting wider RTR initiatives and contributing to a cohesive management team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Your Background:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>You will be a qualified accountant (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with:</p><ul><li>Strong experience in RTR and core accounting processes</li><li>A digital mindset and enthusiasm for automation and systems solutions</li><li>Experience managing teams within a transactional finance or shared service environment</li><li>Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills</li><li>The ability to work accurately under pressure and adapt to change</li><li>A collaborative, resilient approach and a commitment to continuous improvement</li><li>Experience with Oracle Fusion and exposure to finance transformation or Agile methodologies would be advantageous but not essential</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Package:</strong></p><p><br></p><ul><li>£70,000 – £90,000 depending on experience</li><li>10% bonus max (5% on target)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If this role sounds like the right next step, please apply via the link or contact me directly at harvey.kalket@investigo.co.uk.</p>
