Title: Tax Resolution Expert Needed: IRS Payroll Discrepancies & S-Corp Election Issues (Form 941/1120S)

Job Overview:

I am looking for a CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) to help me resolve tax overpayments, missing return notifications, and discrepancies with the IRS.

The core issue stems from my business transitioning from an LLC to an S-Corp. I made payroll tax payments as if the business were an S-Corp, but it appears the IRS records and my filings are out of sync, leading to unfiled return notices and unexpected refunds.

The Situation:

Entity Status: The business was an LLC that elected S-Corp status. The S-Corp election for the 2025 tax year was processed by the IRS on 12/09/25.

The Problem: I made payroll payments throughout the year, but the IRS records show missing Forms 941 (Quarterly Federal Tax Return) for Q2 and Q3 of 2025, and they issued a refund in Q1 which I believe was a mistake (likely due to them not seeing the liability).

Goal: I need someone to analyze my transcripts, reconcile the payments made vs. what the IRS shows, and file the necessary correspondence or returns to fix the record so I can file my 1120S and 1040 correctly.

Specific Discrepancies to Resolve:

2025 Payments: I made payroll payments of $5,000 and $10,000 designated for 2025.

Q1 2025: IRS records show a refund issued on 09/2025 for $1,668.62 (I need to verify why this was refunded).

Q2 2025: I paid $705, but IRS records indicate "No Form Filed."

Q3 2025: IRS records indicate "No Form Filed."

2024 Q4: IRS records indicate a potential issue here as well.

Scope of Work:

Authorization: File Form 8821 (Tax Information Authorization) so you can view my transcripts and speak to the IRS on my behalf.

Investigation: Call the IRS (Priority Service line preferred) to trace the misapplied payments.

Reconciliation: Match my payroll records (Medicare/SS) against IRS transcripts.

Resolution: Prepare and file any missing 941s or write a response letter to the IRS to move payments to the correct tax period/form.nd IRS payment discrepencies
