This is a part time role- 20 hours a week OR fulltime role.</p> <p><strong>Facilities Assistant Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.), painting, and light carpentry. <li>Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues. <li>Coordinate with contractors or third-party service providers for specialized repairs and maintenance services. <li>Oversee the cleanliness and upkeep of common areas, offices, restrooms, and external areas. <li>Ensure that safety equipment is maintained, including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, emergency lighting, and exit signs. <li>Assist in maintaining safety protocols and standards, ensuring that the facility complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations. <li>Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies (cleaning products, office materials, etc.). <li>Ensure that tools, equipment, and machinery are well-maintained and in good working order. <li>Order and replenish supplies as needed to ensure the facility operates efficiently. <li>Assist with setting up meeting rooms, event spaces, and common areas as needed for company functions or meetings. <li>Ensure that all equipment required for events is set up and functioning. <li>Assist in monitoring energy usage and implement energy-saving initiatives. <li>Ensure waste disposal procedures are followed and support sustainability efforts within the facility. <li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, repair schedules, and inventory. <li>Assist with scheduling routine maintenance and repair tasks. <li>Respond to facility-related inquiries and requests from staff or tenants. </ul> <p><strong>Facilities Assistant Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical) are a plus. <li>Previous experience in facilities maintenance, custodial services, or a related field is preferred. <li>Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and general maintenance procedures. <li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. <li>Good communication and interpersonal skills. <li>Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks. <li>Familiarity with safety protocols and building codes. </ul> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $30-$32/hr</p> <p><strong>Malone is an equal opportunity employer.</strong></p> <p><span style="color: #ffffff">2000037</span></p> <h4><strong><a id="otherId" href="/job/789881">To Apply for this Job Click Here</a></strong></h4>
