As a leader in career development strategy, you'll be tasked with building a function from the ground up, working closely with HR, business units, regions, and markets to overcome cultural and structural barriers to career advancement. Your mission will be to foster a culture of career development, ensuring that the organization's talent is equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing industry.Key Responsibilities• Develop and execute a comprehensive career development strategy and roadmap that aligns with the Learning & Talent Solutions (L&TS) vision.• Establish a clear partnership model with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Employee & Leadership Development to design and implement programs supporting an internal talent marketplace.• Create career development curricula, webinars, tools, and resources to enhance employees' skills in resume development, career assessment, interviewing skills, networking, personal branding, and career conversations.• Design and maintain a company-wide virtual career center (interactive website) to serve as a central hub for career resources and information.• Develop a career coaching model, program, and resources to support employees in their career journeys.• Formulate and execute an upskilling/reskilling strategy to address the evolving talent and skill needs of the organization.Essential QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you'll need:• An in-depth understanding of best practices in career development strategy and execution.• Proven experience in curriculum development and delivery methodologies.• Demonstrated alignment to our company values, along with the capability to hire, lead, develop, and motivate a team.• Excellent communication and senior leader engagement experience.• The ability to use a consultative approach and persuasive communication with stakeholders.• A proven track record of prioritizing initiatives based on strategic needs and making consistently strategic recommendations to company leadership.Preferred Qualifications• Prior experience leading career development initiatives in large organizations.• Certifications in career assessments and career coaching.• Experience working in a matrix environment and collaborating with Talent Acquisition to drive internal mobility.Skills and CompetenciesThe ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of creative sensibilities and strong management/organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, hybrid, evolving work environment.
