Entry-Level Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

  • Performs various accounting, auditing, and tax practices to ensure accurate and reliable data and client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables
  • Seeks out opportunities to develop industry and technical expertise in various accounting and auditing areas through attendance at industry training/development events, conducting presentations, and professional reading

Skills

  • BS in an accredited 150-hour Accounting Degree Program or MS in Accounting Program or MBA program with a concentration in Accounting
  • All candidates must meet the educational coursework requirement for the NYS 150-hour education requirement for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) upon conferring of degree and/or PRIOR to full-time hire
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to travel to client locations, predominantly Western New York clients
  • A willingness to work in a team environment
