Entry-Level Project Manager Associate-Interconnection Engineer

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Entry-Level Project Manager Associate-Interconnection Engineer. This role involves managing interconnection-related engineering items, coordinating with internal teams and external clients, and ensuring compliance with project agreements to achieve commercial operation dates. Responsibilities Review all draft Purchase Power Agreement and Interconnect Agreements for their assigned region Assess the impact of requirements on the project design and schedule and communicate with company partners Communicate with Transmission Owners and Operators (TO) and Power Purchasing Agreement Clients to align all deliverables to physically achieve COD Monitor changes in interconnection processes for their assigned ISO(s) Track deliverables for PPAs and IAs Communicate with company partners on any changes in ISO requirements for interconnecting plants Work with engineering parties to ensure technical items of PPA and IA are met in plant design Support the joint testing with parties as main point of contact to the (TO, ISO and PPA Clients) Weekly status reporting of Interconnection submittal status and project planning to meet PPA and IA dates Monthly monitoring and reporting of interconnection queue position milestones Skills Associate's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field 0 or more years of experience managing engineering and construction projects with responsibility for budget oversight and execution Knowledge of ISO tariffs and pro forma and non pro forma contracts Contract interpretation and management of deliverables Purchase Power Agreement (PPA) and Interconnect Agreements (IA) Experience with technical review of contracts related to electric power grid industry Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Understanding of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems Electrical Engineering background with emphasis on Power Systems Engineering Professional experience with interconnection engineering Benefits Comprehensive Health and Income Protection Benefits 401(k) Savings Plan Paid Vacations for Qualifying Positions Company Overview Westinghouse Electric Company provides innovative and secure nuclear technology solutions.
