Welcome to The Green City, LLC where the finest cannabis flower is grown, groomed and prepared for distribution to local retail stores near you!

Our Cultivation department is looking for candidates to join their team. The Grower/Deleafing position within the Cultivation Department will work on plant tasks to maintain production cadence and quality. Assisting in all parts of plant production from propagation through harvest. Maintaining equipment, grow room and irrigation room through proper cleaning and production standards. Follows SOPs in accordance with company standards to achieve maximum and efficient production. This position directly reports to the Managers and the Asst. Manager of the Cultivation Department.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all plant care from clone to harvest in indoor grow
  • Breakdown of work in the cultivation department:
  • Pruning
  • Transplanting/Moving plants
  • Harvesting
  • Cloning
  • Cleaning
  • Other (IPM, room checks, meetings, breaks, post-harvest, hand watering, etc.)
  • Follow all rules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Implement good agricultural practices (GAPs) and follow all good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
  • Keep good records and follow good documentation practices (GDPs)
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management
  • Maintain a friendly, courteous and compassionate demeanor at all times. Adhere to company mission statement, core values, and core competencies while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism.

Qualifications:
  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Must understand and implement the rules, regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by the state and Bud& Mary’s
  • Be able to follow production schedules in a fast-paced environment
  • Develop skills in analyzing potential problems with a plant or the product being processed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Maintain current knowledge of growing techniques & industry technologies
  • Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of grow warehouse
  • Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail.
  • Must obtain or be able to obtain proper cannabis badging requirements per CA state law.

Other Requirements
  • This position requires a lot of sitting, walking, bending and reaching.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks.
  • The close visual focus required.
  • This position requires the extended and repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.


Must be at least 21 years of age!


Salary

$17.28 - $18 per hour
