Serve as a liaison between FEMA and impacted communities, providing support and guidance throughout the recovery process. Conduct damage assessments and analyze data to determine eligibility for federal assistance. Facilitate the distribution of resources and funds to support recovery efforts. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and community members to provide updates and gather feedback. Stay up-to-date on federal policies and guidelines related to disaster recovery and ensure compliance. Provide technical assistance and guidance to communities on disaster recovery best practices. Prepare reports and presentations to inform decision-making and track progress of recovery efforts. Train and mentor other emergency management staff on recovery procedures and protocols. Maintain accurate records and documentation of recovery efforts. Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders and organizations to facilitate a collaborative recovery process. Respond to inquiries and provide support to individuals and families affected by disasters.
