They will also play a key role in co-ordinating and developing our wider P&SC community, across the Arcadis global business.<br><br>The role will require collaboration with other senior leaders in our business to create, sell and deliver market-leading advisory solutions with procurement, supply chain and commercial insight at their heart. It will bring thought leadership to our business and our clients, and inspire and motivate our people while supporting their well-being and welfare : making Business Advisory an exciting and rewarding place to be.<br><br><strong>Role accountabilities:<br><br></strong><strong>Community Leadership & Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and execute a vision and strategy for the UK P&SC CoP, aligned with business priorities.</li><li>Lead, manage and develop a talented group of P&SC professionals.</li><li>Champion the CoP’s purpose, objectives, and value across the organisation.</li><li>Facilitate regular UK and global community meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing events.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Client and Market Impact <br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead high profile pursuits and commissions, with clients across sectors, to drive successful outcomes.</li><li>Maintain and grow relationships with a network of clients, up to CPO and Board levels.</li><li>Engage with market directors, sector leads, technical experts, and project teams to maximise the quality of advisory solutions, and their market and client impact. </li><li>Act as a subject matter expert across a wider portfolio of pursuits and commissions.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Knowledge Management<br><br></strong><ul><li>Curate, develop, and maintain best practice resources, tools, and market insights in procurement, supply chain and commercial.</li><li>Lead the sharing of P&SC lessons learned, project insights, and technical innovations, across Arcadis, in the UK and globally.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Capability & Professional Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Facilitate training, mentoring, and development initiatives linked to the P&SC professional discipline.</li><li>Promote external engagement through partnerships with industry bodies, academia, and professional networks.</li><li>Act as an industry thought leader, via including publications and speaking engagements.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Continuous Improvement & Innovation<br><br></strong><ul><li>Translate P&SC skills and best practice into innovative, client-facing solutions that address their most pressing and complex business opportunities and challenges, and translate into demonstrable business benefits across the supply chain lifecycle. </li><li>Drive development and adoption of new methods, digital tools, and innovative approaches across the CoP.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Demonstrable experience in advisory services, client-side leadership, and/or consultancy with a passion for knowledge management, professional development, and collaboration.</li><li>A recognised leader with proven expertise across Procurement, Supply Chain and Commercial disciplines, in at least one target sector (i.e. energy, water, transport, manufacturing & technology, or property/real estate). </li><li>Experience of managing business relationships up to board level.</li><li>Significant experience of procurement in a regulated context (PCR, UCR etc) is also desirable.</li><li>Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.</li><li>An inspiring, industry-recognised thought leader in procurement, supply chain and commercial best practice. </li><li>A senior, relevant client network (CPO-level and equivalent).</li><li>Proven commercial and business management skills, and an appetite and aptitude for sales and business development.</li><li>Knowledge of digital solutions and technology enablement in the field.</li><li>Ability to engage, motivate, and influence diverse groups.</li><li>Organised, proactive, and able to drive initiatives from concept to delivery.</li><li>Collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>Likely to be a member of CIPS or RICS, and/or other relevant professional institution.<br><br></li></ul>Why Arcadis?<br><br>We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
