Job Description Bose is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead global marketing strategy and execution for our Tech Licensing and B2B business division. This role is responsible for translating Bose’s unmatched audio innovation into compelling B2B value propositions that scale through partners and licensees worldwide. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and sitting on the Global Leadership Team, this leader will also serve on the leadership team for the President of the Auto Tech Licensing division. The role is the primary marketing interface between the business unit and Bose’s global marketing organization, ensuring alignment, brand integrity, and effective activation of enterprise-wide capabilities. This position plays a critical role in driving Bose’s “Audio Lab for the World” strategy—bringing our engineering excellence, innovation, and brand power to market through strategic partnerships, co-marketing, events, and thought leadership. Key Responsibilities Business & Sales Enablement Partner closely with the Business Development and Sales teams to provide strategic marketing support that accelerates deal velocity and revenue growth. Develop compelling B2B narratives, value propositions, and sales enablement materials tailored to licensing and enterprise customers. Support go-to-market strategies for new technologies, platforms, and partner launches. Partner & Co-Marketing Leadership Lead global co-marketing initiatives with strategic partners and licensees, ensuring mutual value creation and measurable impact. Establish criteria and frameworks for partner selection and marketing collaboration that align with Bose’s brand values and long-term strategy. Oversee joint announcements, launches, campaigns, and integrated partner programs. Brand Stewardship Champion and protect the integrity of the Bose corporate brand across all B2B, licensing, and partner-led marketing efforts. Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines, messaging, and visual identity across global markets and partner ecosystems. Act as a trusted advisor to partners on how to authentically represent Bose technology and innovation. Public Relations & Thought Leadership Help shape global public relations strategy for Tech Licensing and B2B, in close partnership with corporate communications. Elevate Bose’s leadership position in audio technology, automotive innovation, and experiential sound through earned media, executive visibility, and industry influence. Event & Experiential Marketing Lead strategy for global events, trade shows, and experiential marketing initiatives that showcase Bose technology to enterprise audiences. Create impactful, differentiated experiences that demonstrate the power of Bose audio in real-world applications. Team & Organizational Leadership Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team to support a growing and evolving B2B business. Foster collaboration, clarity, and accountability while scaling capabilities to meet future growth needs. Global Marketing Integration Serve as the key interface to Bose’s global marketing organization. Activate the right mix of global resources, capabilities, and expertise (brand, creative, media, digital, PR, events) to achieve business unit goals. Ensure alignment between corporate strategy and business-specific priorities. Leadership & Influence Member of the Bose Global Leadership Team. Member of the leadership team for the President of the Auto Tech Licensing division. Trusted partner to senior executives across marketing, engineering, business development, and corporate leadership. Qualifications & Experience 12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with significant experience in B2B, technology, licensing, or automotive ecosystems. Proven success leading global marketing strategies in complex, matrixed organizations. Strong background in partner marketing, co-marketing, and enterprise go-to-market execution. Demonstrated ability to manage and grow teams in fast-moving, innovation-driven environments. Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and executive presence. The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $197,800-$272,050.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
