Summary

We are seeking a Full Time Direct Support Professional to join our team at Clearwater Assisted Living LLC. This position plays a vital role in delivering compassionate care and support to our clients in the Menomonie/Eau Claire areas. As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist clients with daily living activities, promote socialization, and provide emotional support. This position works out of our Eau Claire office with frequent travel to Menomonie area.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support clients in community integration and social activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the leadership team.
  • Help clients manage daily living activities including budgeting and transportation needs.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Ensure a safe environment by assisting with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience in patient care or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed.
  • Compassionate attitude towards supporting individuals in their daily lives.
