DCT does not participate in E-Verify.<br><br>The Residential Program Lead (RPL) is the lead worker in the home and plays a key role in the daily operation of residential services, under the supervision of the Community Residential Supervisor. The RPL will split their time between direct care responsibilities and administrative responsibilities such as scheduling, activity planning, and overseeing household tasks. Hours will vary, candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.<br><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications<br><br></strong><strong>Must meet the qualifications to be a Designated Coordinator:<br><br></strong>Bachelor’s degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR<br><br>Associate’s degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR<br><br>A diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR<br><br>A minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 or older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications in one of the categories above.<br><br><strong>Candidates must also minimally meet these required qualifications:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Must have a valid Driver’s License<br><br></li></ul>Ability to:<br><br><ul><li>Read, write and speak English.</li><li>Provide lead work direction to staff in the delivery of health care services, developmental treatment programs, and support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or individuals living with mental illness.</li><li>Train, schedule, assign work to, and evaluate performance of, subordinate staff in implementing and documenting treatment plans.</li><li>Communicate verbally and nonverbally with clients to identify physical, emotional and daily living needs.</li><li>Evaluate need for, order and obtain supplies and equipment sufficient to ensure that medical, programming and housekeeping functions are maintained.<br><br></li></ul>Knowledge of:<br><br><ul><li>Licensing standards sufficient to inspect work sites, eliminate safety hazards, conduct periodic emergency and evacuation drills, and establish operating procedures.</li><li>Laws, rules, regulations and policies governing treatment of vulnerable adults and operation of licensed facilities sufficient to protect the rights of clients/residents.</li><li>Therapeutic intervention techniques sufficient to de-escalate aggressive or violent behavior. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Our employees are dedicated to ensuring cultural responsiveness.
