Data Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines that serve as the foundation for rich reporting and business intelligence
  • Develop and optimize data models that transform raw data into clean, reliable datasets for downstream analysis
  • Write clean, well-documented queries and code to ensure pipeline reliability, scalability, and maintainability
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor customer impact and operational progress
  • Conduct analyses of customer behavioral data to identify trends and surface opportunities
  • Develop business solutions that align with strategy and represent customer needs understood through data analysis and research
  • Validate the impact of key metrics on long-term business objectives in a statistically rigorous manner
  • Evaluate and build tools that enable teammates to solve problems and maximize customer impact

Skills

  • A bachelor's degree is required for this role
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, data science, or related fields
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python (including libraries such as NumPy and Pandas)
  • Experience designing and building data pipelines and data models
  • Experience writing clean, well-documented, and version-controlled code
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability
  • Demonstrated ability and interest in using data to drive business decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with statistical methods such as decision trees, clustering, A/B analysis, or regression
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Quantitative Methods, or a related field
  • Experience with HTML, JavaScript, or Neo4j
