We have a fantastic opportunity for a Consultation Officer in our Parking Operations team.</p> <p>We are looking for a highly organised individual that has proven experience in providing excellent service with a genuine desire to help our residents and business, have an eye for detail, enjoy being part of a team and are able to work in a pressurised environment.</p> <p>You must have a flexible approach to your work whilst being able to plan and prioritise workloads efficiently and effectively to ensure that tight deadlines are met. In this role it is crucial for you to maintain high levels of service standards at all times.</p> <p>As a Consultation Officer, you will make sure all consultation documents are designed and printed within the agreed timescales. You will take responsibility for continually improving our service performance to meet the varying demands of our customers ensuring we get it right first time. You will have experience in collecting, handling and analysing large amounts of information, and presenting this to a variety of professional and lay audiences in understandable form (in particular numerical information).</p> <p>You will need to have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with queries from our diverse community of residents. You will be required to respond clearly to emails and telephone requests and build close relationships with other Council departments.</p> <p>You will have the ability to investigate complex queries and provide a fair outcome to our customers and you must be able to demonstrate this across all channels and within a diverse customer group.</p> <p>You should have a good understanding of a variety of IT packages and experience of using Google GSuite and be able to interpret consultation feedback.
