Job Introduction

Join Sodexo as a Cleaning Operator in Glasgow and be part of a team that takes pride in creating clean, safe, and welcoming environments. In this role, you will support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services across site, carrying out general cleaning duties while working closely with colleagues across the Facilities team. From maintaining high standards of cleanliness to supporting wider facilities operations when required, your contribution will help ensure an excellent experience for everyone who uses the site. Working together as one team, you will play an important part in delivering service excellence to meet the standards expected by both Sodexo and our valued client.

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out general housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring all areas on the cleaning schedule meet required SLA standards.
  • Support the day-to-day delivery of cleaning services while maintaining awareness of site safety, security, and protection of assets.
  • Provide a polite, friendly, and professional service to customers and colleagues, reporting any complaints, compliments, or incidents promptly.
  • Participate in training and team meetings and comply with all company policies, procedures, and site regulations.
  • Assist other areas of the contract or nearby sites when required and complete any reasonable tasks requested by management.

What you bring:

  • Previous experience in a similar cleaning or facilities role.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with a polite and professional approach.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions effectively.
  • Well organised with good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Flexible and reliable, with an understanding of site procedures and the importance of confidentiality.
