Benefits Analyst - Remote

The Benefits Analyst provides operational, analytical, and customer-focused support in administering the company's benefits programs. This includes acting as a subject matter resource for employees, conducting benefit orientations and open enrollment meetings, managing day-to-day transactions, supporting reference-based pricing (RPB) medical plans, and partnering with benefit vendors on issue resolution. The role includes limited, basic compensation support but remains primarily focused on benefits administration. Essential Job Functions: • Benefits Administration • Advise colleagues regarding benefits related issues, such as medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, health saving accounts, short- and long-term disability, and 401k. • Serve as internal resource on Reference-Based Pricing (RPB) medical plans, including employee education, vendor coordination, and resolving escalated issues. • Conduct weekly benefit orientation session for new hires. • Lead employee meeting during Open Enrollment, supporting benefit changes, plan education and Q&A. • Perform transactional benefits administration including new hire enrollments, life events, eligibility changes, and payroll deductions. • Conduct weekly and monthly audits to ensure accurate benefit enrollment and reporting. • Manage leaves of absence end to end in connection with our leave vendor. • Support paid leave program. • Partner with benefit vendors on plan setup, compliance, and issue resolution. • Support annual surveys for both Benefits and Compensation. • HRIS and Operational Support • Support benefits processes in Workday. • Ensure accuracy or end-to-end data flow between HR, benefits, payroll, and vendor systems. • Light Compensation Support • Assist compensation team with periodic compensation data results. • Provide clerical or administrative support with merit cycles, incentive plan rollout, Workday audits, etc. as needed. Specific Skills/ Attributes: • Proactive team member with strong customer service orientation, excellent attention to detail and follow through. Ability to handle confidential colleague information with discretion and exercise good judgment. • Excellent analytical, organizational and project management skills with strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills. Ability to manage end-to-end processes.
