Associate Underwriter

FCCI Insurance Group is focused on creating connections and building lasting relationships. They are seeking a motivated and well-organized Associate Underwriter to support the acquisition and retention of profitable commercial lines customers for their Florida Region.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with gathering underwriting information on renewal and new business accounts and works with agency to obtain missing information
  • Approve, modify or decline all transactions (MVR, audit changes, endorsements, etc.) within assigned authority level
  • Review all endorsement requests and gather missing information. Approve and provide issuance instructions within designated authority. Refer endorsement requests outside designated authority to UW
  • Handle the renewal underwriting of less complex accounts based on authority levels and assigned premium thresholds
  • Prepare the appropriate underwriting file documentation on accounts within authority, supporting the UW in documentation outside of authority
