An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Assistant Brand Manager to join our Quick Meals, Snacks & Soup (QMSS) marketing team, working on our Authentic portfolio, including much-loved brands such as Nissin and Sharwood's.

Reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, you'll play a key role in driving brand performance across one of the fastest-growing categories in UK grocery. From innovation delivery and BTL activation to data analysis and P&L management, this is a broad, hands-on role offering fantastic exposure and development within a market-leading FMCG business.

What you'll be doing?

As an Assistant Brand Manager, you will:

  • Support the Senior Brand Manager on day-to-day brand activity and key strategic initiatives
  • Monitor, analyse and report on market performance, consumer insights and competitor activity using data sources such as Circana and Kantar
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of EPD and innovation projects - from concept development and packaging to launch and in-market evaluation
  • Assist in building and executing brand plans that drive growth both in-store and online
  • Own elements of P&L and budget management, including tracking and reporting on marketing spend
  • Support the development and execution of best-in-class BTL activation, including shopper marketing and digital activity
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Commercial Planning, Agencies and other internal teams
  • Gain exposure to customer selling, factory visits, Gate processes and international stakeholders

What we need from you?

We're looking for a commercially minded marketer who is excited by innovation and brand building. You'll ideally bring:
  • FMCG marketing experience (graduate-level or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and insight tools such as Circana or Kantar
  • A collaborative mindset with proven project management experience
  • A results-driven approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • High attention to detail and confidence working cross-functionally
