Analyst - Supply Chain

Salary Range: £42,000 - £46,000 per year

Office Based: London, EC1V 7LQ

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The Global Performance Management team drives business impact by leveraging end-to-end supply chain data to provide trusted insights and standardized reporting. Based in London and Boston, we partner with operations to bridge the gap between analytics and global logistics execution.


As an Analyst in our team, you will analyse & manipulate large data sets to support informed decision-making within the logistics network. Engaging with a broad set of cross-functional partners, you will identify performance improvement opportunities, support initiative development, and contribute to strategic business decisions through data-driven insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform analysis across large data sets to develop performance insights and highlight operational opportunities. 

  • Develop key metrics and reporting to measure how initiatives are improving Wayfair’s performance and enabling our team to easily identify trends, root causes and develop targeted action plans.

  • Ensure data-driven strategies and KPIs are strictly aligned with Wayfair’s business objectives, monitoring progress and distilling performance data into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders to guide strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Operations and Tech to support the rollout of new operational initiatives and/or tech capabilities. 

  • Work directly with carriers and carrier management to identify root causes and solution data issues and performance trends, ensuring insights are translated into actionable improvements across the network.

  • Build dashboards to translate large data sets into driving insights and action.

  • Conduct thorough ad-hoc analysis to emerging business challenges.

What You’ll Have

  • Proven experience within an analytically biased role OR have a minimum Master Degree in quantitative field such as Maths, Finance, Science, Engineering.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable business decisions.

  • A minimum basic proficiency in SQL to effectively query terabyte-scale datasets

  • Effective communication skills, someone who can collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to align goals and drive measurable performance.

  • Ability to thrive within an agile, fast paced environment, remaining calm, composed and focused on priorities while meeting project deadlines.

  • Proficiency with IT systems and user knowledge for navigating multiple applications simultaneously (including Excel and Google Sheets). 

  • Knowledge of Python and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker Studio, or PowerBI is highly advantageous.
