This is a contingent hire for a full-time client facing position supporting a government agency. If you have a passion for systems engineering and the integration of new technologies such as AI/ML, this is the perfect opportunity to apply your expertise and contribute to impactful projects Key Responsibilities: • Develop and apply systems engineering products and analyses to support requirement development, acquisition, deployment, and sustainment of AI/ML capabilities. • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI and machine learning models using given datasets and customer requirements. • Test and develop machine learning that meet or exceed desired performance evaluation metrics. • Utilize understanding of the concepts of supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, model evaluation metrics, and hyperparameter tuning. • Monitor model performance in production environments to ensure reliable, efficient, and scalable model performance. • Develop AI/ML concept plans, including requirements and conceptual planning. • Assist in the design and development of AI algorithms. • Conduct technology trade studies to research, analyze, and evaluate various options, documenting results to determine the best value solution for specific problems • Perform engineering investigations of considerable complexity to resolve technical issues • Review literature, patents, and current practices to inform solutions for assigned projects Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering Three (3) or more years of relevant IC or DoD financial experience • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively complex systems design, acquisition, and test experience • Active TS/SCI Desired: • Master's degree in systems or electrical engineering preferred. • Systems Engineering certification from INCOSE or DAWIA preferred. • 10 years of experience in AI/ML preferred Basic Compensation: $125,200 - $187,700 This range is for the Maryland area only The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
