Permanent / 20 hours per week / 40 weeks per annum

We are seeking a Front Office Administration Assistant to join our school office team, providing professional front-of-house support for pupils, parents, visitors and staff. This is a key role within the daily life of the school, ensuring that communication, safeguarding processes and pupil welfare administration run smoothly and effectively.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many members of the school community, providing a calm, organised and welcoming reception service. While the role operates within established procedures and under clear direction, it carries important responsibility for safeguarding processes, accurate administration and maintaining positive relationships with families.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff, including managing phones, emails and reception enquiries
  • Managing visitor access and sign-in procedures to ensure safeguarding requirements are met
  • Supporting pupil welfare administration including medicines, accident documentation and medical records
  • Monitoring pupil movement and supporting pupil collection procedures where required
  • Assisting with admissions administration and EYFS paperwork and communication
  • Maintaining accurate administrative records relating to pupils and visitors
  • Supporting the smooth running of the school office through general administrative tasks
