<p><strong>Accounting Manager - SaaS - Remote (Eastern Time Zone Only, please!)</strong></p><p>A rapidly growing SaaS company is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead core accounting operations and help build scalable financial infrastructure during an exciting period of growth.</p><p>This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the close process, improving systems, and building processes that scale with a high-growth business. You will partner closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting while strengthening accounting operations and controls.</p><p>This is a hands-on leadership opportunity with the ability to shape accounting processes and influence how the finance function evolves as the company continues to scale.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities: </strong></p><p><em>Month-End Close & Financial Reporting</em></p><ul><li><p>Own and manage the full monthly close process and drive improvements toward a faster, more efficient close cycle</p></li><li><p>Oversee revenue recognition processes and ensure compliance with ASC 606 across subscription-based contracts</p></li><li><p>Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages</p></li><li><p>Lead account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies</p></li><li><p>Partner with FP&A on variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making</p></li></ul><p><em>Accounting Operations & Systems</em></p><ul><li><p>Optimize the accounting technology stack to improve efficiency and automation</p></li><li><p>Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls</p></li><li><p>Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes</p></li><li><p>Build scalable accounting workflows and infrastructure to support company growth</p></li></ul><p><em>Cross-Functional Partnership</em></p><ul><li><p>Collaborate with leadership on audit preparation, investor reporting, etc.</p></li><li><p>Work cross-functionally with teams across finance, operations, and HR </p></li><li>Contribute ideas and process improvements to strengthen the overall finance function</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of accounting experience, CPA strongly preferred</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition required </p></li><li><p>Experience with modern ERP systems (such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or similar) and billing/expense management platforms</p></li></ul><p><strong>The approximate salary for this position is between $150K-$170K.
