Together, let's redefine possibilities and leave a legacy that echoes for generations.<br><br><strong>What you will be working on<br><br></strong>Under the Business Incubator & Accelerator Office (BIA), the Frontier Products Team is a modern team focused on developing software products that aim to make CPF Board and Government as a whole work better. We work entirely on the cloud using cloud-native technologies. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with this dynamic and innovative team and contribute to our efforts to enhance CPF Board's technological capabilities and digital transformation — including how GenAI can accelerate and improve delivery.<br><br><strong>In this role, you will:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Contribute your tech skills to one of our many products and initiatives that aim to make CPF Board and whole of government work better, including opportunities where GenAI can add real user value.</li><li>Explore the field of GenAI, and help prototype standalone products or build our end-to-end GenAI platform stack to enable other GenAI development teams to build products that improve the way we work.</li><li>Work in a cross disciplinary team with UI/UX designers and Product Managers to ship usable, safe, and measurable features.</li><li>Gain hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including cloud services commonly used to build and deploy AI-enabled systems.<br><br></li></ul><strong>What are we looking for<br><br></strong>We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern brings. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, having some familiarity or budding expertise in the following areas will help you make the most of this opportunity and succeed with our team.<br><br><ul><li>Currently pursuing a Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.</li><li>Has some experience or keen interest in cloud solutions and GenAI, with basic development knowledge in Java, Python, or large language models; familiarity with prompt engineering, evaluation, or RAG is a plus.</li><li>Interested in developing problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting technical issues, including investigating model outputs and system behavior.</li><li>Communicates clearly, both in speaking and writing.
